Many of the FAQs below have a very banal answer, namely – we don't know (yet). I have still included those questions/answers as the UAP space is rife with personal theories peddled as facts. I suppose it's hard for some folks to admit they just don't know. This list will continue to be updated as new facts emerge, and is accurate to the best of my knowledge as of the 13th of August 2023.

Why do NHI or UAP-related events only happen in the US?
Short answer – they don't. Virtually every nation in the world has had reports of UAP. The US, however, has the most advanced and pervasive sensor installations that provide telemetry spanning the whole globe, so it stands to reason they would be most likely to have high quality data/observations on the phenomenon.
The most recent updates in the realm of Disclosure have also all originated in the US (e.g. whistleblower testimony, UAP Disclosure Act of 2023...etc), further clarifying why the current focus of the topic is so US-centric.
Why do NHI craft keep crashing?
There is no public consensus on this, nor has any verifiable evidence been put forth publicly to lend credence to any one theory.
In other words, we don't know (yet).

This question makes a number of implicit assumptions (e.g. NHI craft should be immune to crashing, NHI craft are impervious to any form of human intervention, NHI cannot deliberately crash a craft...etc etc). We simply do not have enough information on the topic to even begin asking these types of questions. Let's first figure out if they're crashing at all, before we start asking why/how...

The most recent whistleblower – United States Air Force (USAF) officer and former intelligence official David Grusch – however, alleges the existence of a long-standing American UAP crash retrieval and reverse-engineering program since at least the 1930/40s.
Author's note:
I think it's worth including this claim here as it's a verifiable claim that the US Congress is currently investigating, and will likely be able to confirm/deny within a reasonable (by the end of 2024) timeframe. If confirmed, it would indicate an NHI presence on Earth since at least the mid-20th century.
